Homegoing Celebration in Loving Memory of Mrs. Annie L. Casteel-Harvey. SunRise May 8, 1912 - SunSet July 8, 2004. Services Saturday, July 17, 2004, 1:00 P.M., Floyd Valley Baptist Church, 3371 County Road 2349, Marietta, Texas. Rev. W. R. Collins & Rev. James Boyce, Officiants. Obituary: Mrs. Annie L. Casteel-Harvey is the daughter of the late Dillard Casteel and Mollie Nickleberry-Casteel. She was born May 8, 1912 in Marietta, Texas. She united with the Floyd Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Marietta, Texas at an early age. In 1957, she moved to Texarkana, Texas, and in 1958 she relocated to Maywood, Illinois. She returned home to Texarkana in 1992 and resided until her demise. She married Burlee Harvey in 1929. To this union, ten (10) children were born. Her husband, Burlee Harvey and two daughters, Peggy Harvey-Brown and Mary Harvey-Holloway preceded her in death. She is survived by four daughters, Mordine Harvey-Caston of Maywood, IL / Texarkana, TX; Vera (Philbert, Sr.) Harvey-Wilcox of Broadview, IL; Tonice (Lonnie, Sr.) Harvey-Booker of Texarkana, TX, Mollie L. Harvey of Broadview, IL; and four sons, Waldo, Sr. (Thelma) Harvey of Bellwood, IL; B.H. Harvey of Marietta, TX; Alvin (Debra) Harvey of Broadview, IL and Joe L. Harvey of Texarkana, TX. One son-in-law, Carl Holloway, Jr. and a special niece, Dorothy Bonner-Allen. Twenty-nine grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren and five great, great-grandchildren. She was survived by three sisters, Sally Jack of Shreveport, LA; V. Nell Dansby of Milwaukee, WI; and Emma Kate Hicks of Marietta, TX. Several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of other relatives and friends. One sister, Colee Northcutt, preceded her in death.
