In Loving Memory of Mildred H. Galloway. Tuesday, March 30, 1999. Wake 11:00 A.M., Funeral 11:30 A.M. Ebenezer Baptist Church, 4501 South Vincennes, Chicago, Illinois. Rev. L. Edward Simpson, Jr., Officiating. Obituary: Edith Helen Mildred Galloway was born to the union of Susan Sizemore and Frank Dandy (deceased) on August 5, 1914. The oldest of two daughters, Mildred accepted Christ at an early age. She has been a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church since 1937. On June 17, 1937, Mildred was joined in Holy Matrimony to Tillmon Galloway (deceased). To this union, three children were born: Helen (Valentine), Steve and Tim. Mildred was devoted to her family and friends. She had a caring heart and will always be fondly remembered for the wonderful meals she prepared for her family and friends. On March 25, 1999, Mildred departed this life freed from suffering and pain. She will always be cherished in the hearts and memories of those who loved her most; her daughter and two sons; her sister, Geraldine (Elcan) and brother-in-law, Lawrence Elcan; her son-in-law, Michael Valentine; her daughter-in-law, Carry Galloway; her three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
