Obituary: Rose Helen Stills was born April 22, 1940, in Texarkana, Arkansas to B.W. and Ruthie Mae Robertson. Both parents preceded her in death. Rose was baptized at an early age. She moved to Los Angeles, California with her family when she was a teenager and graduated from Fremont High School. Rose loved the Lord and attended Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Los Angeles, and West Angeles Church of God in Christ. She met and married the love of her life Robert Stills and raised two children, Nedka and Damon. She received her A.A. Degree from Southwest College in Los Angeles, and attended National University, majoring in psychology. Rose loved children and began her teaching career as a pre-school teacher at Marie Fagan School in Los Angeles. In September 1989, she began teaching at Delta Sigma Theta State Pre-school until she retired in 2006. Rose is survived by her husband Robert, daughter Nedka, son Damon, two grandsons Kameron and Thailer, seven brothers; Joe Robertson, James Robertson, Willie Robertson (Julia), Carlton Robertson (Stephanie), B.W. Robertson (Mary), Lee Robertson, Travis Robertson, two sisters; Dorothy Gray (Richard), Linda Robertson, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Active Pallbearers: James Robertson, Willie Robertson, Carlton Robertson, Lee Robertson, Travis Robertson, B.W. Robertson. Honorary Pallbearers: Joe Robertson, Damon Stills, Bruce Robertson, Shawn Robertson. Final Arrangements Entrusted To Forest Lawn Mortuary, Covina Hills, CA. Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
