Jessie Henry - Pastor & Officiant Overseer Jackie Robinson - Eulogist --- Page 2 --- A Glimpse Into The Life of Chay Lan Born March 18, 1954 to the late Ethel Mae Bean; Roy L Bean proved to be full of life, personable, family oriented, strong and determined. Roy loved his family and secondly had a great love for dominoes. Born in Ogden, Arkansas and began his educational journey at the Ashdown Public School system and later transitioned to the Hope Public Schools where he received his high school diploma. Roy had a great love for both his mother and his God- Parents Mr. & Mrs. John Henry & Lizzy Edwards. Though Roy never had any natural children he had a great love and affection for his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. On July 5, 2016, Roy slipped the bonds of this earthly realm free and moved to a higher ground. Among the skies waiting for him are: His Mother: Ethel Mae Bean; God Parents: John Henry & Lizzy Edwards; and sister: Evelyn Bean. Because love is far greater than death, he departs this earth in body only. He leaves to remember and cherish his memories here on earth: Two Brothers: Thomas (Shelia) Bean, Sr. of Mt. Pleasant Texas and Luster Bean of Needmore, Arkansas; Two Sisters: Dorothy Sims of Texarkana, Texas, and Deborah Bean Benton of Hope, Arkansas; One Uncle: Johnny Bean of Texarkana, Texas; One Aunt: Rosie Bean of Atlanta, Georgia; Three Nephews: Demetrick (Kashundra) Sims, Sr., Dale Sims and Thomas Bean Jr. all of Texarkana, Texas. Ten Neices: Alma (Carlos) Johnson and Cynthia (Isaiah) Bean both of Omaha, Nebraska; Felisha (Jimmie) Woodberry of Texarkana, Arkansas; Fetitia Sims, Cassandra Johnson, and Nicole Murphy all of Texarkana, Texas; Sherish Lewis, Tabatha Henderson, and Corinthia Bean all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; and Latisha Franklin of Little Rock, Arkansas.
