Betty attended Washington High School. She married Charles Finnie on September 21, 1973, in Texarkana, TX. She worked for Lonestar and Red River Army Depot for 20 years. She was an active member of Hopewell Temple C.M.E. Church. Betty had a passion for spending time with family, cooking, calling and checking on friends, lending a helping hand when needed, and letting you know her opinion in the subletest of ways. We were blessed to learn many lessons from Betty during her 86 years. Betty taught us about perseverance and rising above adversity and the snares of the enemy. Through actions she taught us to love with an open heart and to forgive. She loved her God, her family, and her friends, and anything else was inconsequential. She endured more than a lifetime of loss, but she never broke her stride. Eula is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Finnie, and sons: Clemmie Williams, Sandy Williams, Arthur Williams, Theodore Gilmore, Ronnie Finnie and Ricky Finnie. Eula is survived by her children, Robert Williams (Ella), Alvin Williams, Terry Williams (Judy), Otha Williams Jr. stepson Charles D. Finnie, and grand-daughter that she raised as her own, Danielle Williams-Smith. Daughters-in-law Wanda Williams and Brenda Gilmore. She had a close friend Emma Weatherspoon and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
