Michael was born without the ability to speak or hear. Nevertheless, these obstacles never stopped Michael from learning. He learned sign language at an early age. And, his physical obstacles did not prevent him from living and enjoying life. He was loving and caring with a beautiful soul and giving heart. Michael attended elementary and high school in the Chicago Public School System. After high school, Michael had a few jobs across different industries. However, Michael most enjoyed his job at the United States Postal Service. He was employed with the Postal Service over 26 years. He made many friends at USPS. One of his closest friends, Sebrina Jennings, is a friend who worked with him at USPS. They developed a close friendship and Michael was like a brother to Sebrina. Michael was preceded in death by his father Frank Twyman, mother, Luginne Twyman, brother, Charles Steward Jr. and sister Valerie McKenzie. Michael departed this life on Friday, September 30, 2016. He leaves to cherish his remaining siblings: Yolanda Twyman (George) Wilson, Carl Twyman; Lela Mae Twyman; Madeline Nash; Lillian Williams; Fannie Kakonge; Toni Laudededale; Maureen Twyman; Francine Gray; sister-in-law, Brenda Steward; nephews, nieces, and a host of cousins and friends.
