She was born in Chicago, Illinois at the Cook County Hospital on October 27, 1920. She was baptized at an early age. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church for over fifty years. She was a member of the First and Board, Ebenezer Senior Club and she sang in the Choir. She also was in the Calanthe Cicero Court 18 and Tenth Abishagtea 78. She was a DuSable Alumni Class of 41. She had one brother and one son who preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish in her memory family and friends.
